ASTROXIL-SG is a micro emulsion due to its small particle size is able to cross link with fibres and fabrics from water dispersions.

• ASTROXIL-SG cross links with the fibres and fabrics and gives a very durable finish.

FIBROLONE-555 is a highly Potent softener. Has many  distinct  characteristic properties  as    speciality  chemical.  It  imparts   incomparable softness and elastic properties to textiles, yet it is totally free  from drawbacks associated with conventional softners, like yellowing,  dulling or lowering of light fastness of coloured fabrics. It is APEO free. It is shear stable.

Addition in Pigment Printing paste makes the fabric feel, very smooth after pigment printing, compared to conventional Pigment Printing

FEATURES:

• Provides greater efficiency to process by reducing the time and water required for intermediate rinsing before dyeing.
• Gives a balanced reaction with residual peroxide producing a soluble acid, which helps in neutralising any residual alkali.

APPLICATIONS : 

The amount of FRESCOLENE-PK needed depends on the amount of hydrogen peroxide left after bleaching and usage levels can vary from 0.5-5.0 g/l.

At   the end of the hydrogen peroxide bleach cycle, add FRESCOLENE-PK at 75-85°C and treat in the cooling bath for  10-20 minutes.  Ensure that residual peroxide has been completely neutralised by testing with peroxide test indicators. When clear of peroxide, drain the bath after cooling to 70°C to minimise rope creasing and introduce a fresh liquor. Adjust the pH of the bath to 6.5-7.0 and start the dyeing process in that bath.

Alternatively, drain the peroxide bath on completion of the bleaching process. In a fresh bath, add FRESCOLENE-PK, run the fabric for 10-15 minutes at 60-70°C, then adjust the pH to 6.5 - 7.0 and add the pre-dissolved Reactive dyes to commence the dyeing process.  This technique ensures minimal carryover of surfactants; peroxide and alkali from the bleaching process, and also reduces the amount of FRESCOLENE-PK required.

ENZODESIZE-110 is used for desizing of fabrics sized with starch, starch derivatives or with mixtures based on starch & any other synthetic material.

The guidelines given above can hold good with due considerations for woven goods processing also. For goods containing sizing chemicals a preparatory process of desizing should precede scouring.

For goods contaminated with knitting oils, paraffin waxes etc., severity of process, time or temperature wise may have to be increased, if there is a need.

Batchwise scouring of polyster/cellulosic blends can be done in jet machines, wherein less alkalinity may be advisible to minimize damage to polyester fibre.

Processing of cotton woven grey goods on jiggers would need a adequate desizing treatment. Longer processing times would be needed as maximum temperatures reached are around 90°C unless enclosed machines are available.

(A)   Single stage scour/bleach process for desized Cotton or Synthetic fabrics.

The goods can be padded in saturator with appropriate pick up, with liquor containing SOLSCOUR-RMB along with caustic soda, hydrogen peroxide, REVOSTAB - NVR (peroxide stabilizer) and ROLQUEST.

The impregnated goods are heated in steam chamber to temperatures near 98°C-100°C, at atmospheric pressure for 15-20 minutes and subsequently washed in continuous range, finally pH adjusted to 5.5 to 6.0 with a mild acid and further processed as required.

The goods with starch based sizes can be desized and washed if facility available in continuous manner before single stage scouring/bleaching process.

·       Densely woven knitted goods get uniform and highly efficient treatment, not normally achievable with conventional chemicals.

·       Economical in use as it cuts down processing time.

·       Eminently suitable for combined scouring / bleaching operations for yarn, hosiery, blends etc.

RECOMMENDED DOSSAGES:-

1)    Scouring of cotton / blends on jiggers (where cotton goods may be desized or mercerized if required)

Caustic Soda (Solid)         - 2-4%

      The Scouring is to be carried at near boil for 4 to 8 turns depending upon nature of goods.

2)    Scouring & Bleaching of Hosiery / Terry Towel in soflows or in Yarn Package dyeing machines.

The temperature near boil for about one hour or less may be adequate.

3)    SCOUROL-FCI-LF is recommended for scouring of all kinds of normal synthetic textiles even at elevated temperatures, along with application of Optical Brightening Agent etc.
